We are a traditional pub in the heart of Lewes, East Sussex, offering home-cooked food and live music in a warm, comfortable environment.

The Bar
We keep 3 real ales on draught, including the local brew, Harvey’s Best Bitter. We also carry an extensive selection of spirits, and offer a range of wines by the glass.
The Food
Traditional pub grub, cooked to order, is served during the week. Alternatively, try our fresh homemade pizzas on Friday nights, or our Sunday roasts, all lovingly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. See our ‘Food’ page for menus.
The Music
Local blues, jazz, swing, and rock ‘n’ roll bands play every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. See the gig guide for times and information on upcoming bands.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hoping everyone had a lovely Chrisrtmas and recived all they asked for and tyhen went on to have a good New Years Eve.
We have been very busy here but do manage to enjoy some of the festivities.
I do hope everyone is keeping wraped up warm in this horrid weather!
Right how many of you hacve made new years resolutions? I think ours is just going to be keep up the madness and mayhem everyone seems to be enjoying when they come in, along with some great music and this year I have got some old favorites and some smashing new stuff coming your way
Don’t forget if you need a venue for a party or just a little get together please don’t hesitate to think of us!!
So bring on January and lets see what we can make of it
