We are a traditional pub in the heart of Lewes, East Sussex, offering home-cooked food and live music in a warm, comfortable environment.

The Bar
We keep 3 real ales on draught, including the local brew, Harvey’s Best Bitter. We also carry an extensive selection of spirits, and offer a range of wines by the glass.
The Food
Traditional pub grub, cooked to order, is served during the week. Alternatively, try our fresh homemade pizzas on Friday nights, or our Sunday roasts, all lovingly prepared with locally sourced ingredients. See our ‘Food’ page for menus.
The Music
Local blues, jazz, swing, and rock ‘n’ roll bands play every Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. See the gig guide for times and information on upcoming bands.

BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!!
I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying what we’ve been up to lately?
Easter was fun with our little egg hunt for the kids of all sizes and a massive thank you goes out to my mum whom made lots of knitted bits an bobs for the kiddies
What have I got in store for you over the next couple of months, well lots more fresh new bands some to may have heard of otheres you may not have, a Jubilee garden party, a luau in August complet with surf simulator machine arriving!!!
Olympics, Wimboldon and of corse the Euro’s will be being shown daily.
And of corse all the usual madness and mayhem that goes with us all will also be here to
