The Volunteer
We are a traditional pub in the heart of Lewes, East Sussex, offering home-cooked food and live music in a warm, comfortable environment.

The Bar
We keep real ales on draft, including the local brew, Harvey’s Best Bitter. We also carry an extensive selection of spirits, and offer a range of wines.
The Food
Traditional pub grub, cooked to order by our new chef, Adrian, is served during the week, 11:00 am to 2:45 pm.
Roast dinners only are available on Sundays 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm (or until sold out). Our Roasts are proving very popular so come early to avoid disappointment!

We have a Toad table and a selection of popular board games available for use. Enjoy a drink while you play.
The Volunteer Toads team play every other Monday (drop in or call/e-mail us to find out when and where).

Traditional Pub Grub is available every lunchtime with the exception of Sunday when Roasts are on the menu.
